Cost of Living Payment

The Government has announced a Cost of Living Payment to help with the rising costs of inflation for eligible individuals.

If you are eligible Inland Revenue will make the payments directly into your bank account starting from 1 August 2022. If you are bankrupt or in another insolvency procedure you will still receive the Cost of Living Payment you are eligible for from Inland Revenue. You do not need to disclose receiving this payment to the Official Assignee and the Official Assignee will not take any interest in the payment or seek to recover it from you.
